Safest Communities in British Columbia
StatCan Crime Severity Index (CSI) measures both the volume and severity of crime reported to police. These BC communities rank safest within British Columbia.
How to read CSI scores: The national baseline is 100 by definition of the index. BC average is approximately 84. A score below 40 reflects a genuinely low-crime community. Small-population FSAs with suppressed data are excluded.
